Bush has told aides that, barring a crisis, he doesn’t intend to let anything interfere with his three weeks of R&R at Kennebunkport, Maine, in August. (Last year the Persian Gulf crisis forced Bush back to Washington three times during his vacation.) But Bush will travel to Pasadena to deliver the commencement address at Caltech in June. And aides say, “There’s a predisposition for [Bush] to do more in California rather than less.”
