The Operation Grand Heist update for Black Ops 4 makes changes to all three major game modes. In terms of Blackout, players can look forward to some new areas to explore on the battle royale map, including a named location called Ghost Town (based on the Standoff multiplayer map from Black Ops 2) and some underground tunnels modeled after the Black Ops 2’s Zombies map Buried.

Additionally, Blackout is getting a new mode called Hot Pursuit, though it won’t be part of the initial Operation Grand Heist update. Instead Hot Pursuit will be added on February 22, and it will add three new vehicles. In Hot Pursuit, players will be able to use an assault boat, muscle car, SUV to race to special supply drops on the map.

Meanwhile, Black Ops 4’s standard multiplayer mode is also getting some attention in the Operation Grand Heist update. The biggest change comes in the form of a new Specialist named Outrider. Outrider originally appeared in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, and comes equipped with an explosive longbow called the Sparrow. Black Ops Pass owners will also have access to new maps in the form of Casino and Lockup.

Zombies players can look forward to the Gauntlet mode, which is now available as part of the Operation Grand Heist update, in addition to a new, melee damage-boosting perk called Ethereal Razor. And in March, Black Ops Pass owners can download the Ancient Evil DLC for Zombies.

Operation Grand Heist is a sizable update for Black Ops 4, and should give fans of all three game modes something to do. Moving forward, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 owners can expect similar updates to come at regular intervals.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
