To start, the evidence in Desperate Measures can appear in numerous locations, which means that players may need to visit several spots before finding it. This is in contrast to the other evidence required for the Operation Red Circus mission in CoD: Black Ops Cold War, which is always found in the same place, and it may prove slightly irritating. That said, there are three spots where the Desperate Measures evidence seems to spawn fairly often, and fans may want to start their searches there.

The first of these locations is the Records room near the top of the map in this Black Ops Cold War mission, and players should look for the Wristwatch Containing Dead Drop List on the desk in the back. Notably, this is a restricted area, and fans will need to time their lockpicking in order to enter without being caught. Players should also be prepared to dispatch a guard inside of the Records room, as they have the power to ruin the search.

If a Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War player does not find the Desperate Measures evidence in that room, then they may want to head down to the Server Room. This is again a restricted area, which means that fans will need to continue to exercise some caution, and it can be entered through a ventilation shaft. Once inside, players should look for the wristwatch on one of the desks.

For those FPS fans that have still not come across the Desperate Measures evidence after checking these two spots, then a trip to the War Room may be called for. Perhaps the easiest way to access this room is to restart the mission and head to it directly after disabling the cameras. Hopefully fans will walk out of the War Room with the Wristwatch Containing Dead Drop List in hand, and they will then be ready to solve the suspects puzzle in CoD: Black Ops Cold War.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
