There are a variety of factors that may impact one’s Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War playtime. For example, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has optional evidence files for players to find that are hidden throughout the environment, so if players take the time to find those and are playing on a higher difficulty level, it may take them a bit longer to finish the campaign. An initial Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War campaign playthrough consists of 14 missions, ranging from full-fledged levels to short briefings where players get an update on the story and can chat with other characters in the game. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has multiple endings, with player choice determining which ending they see, and each ending has its own mission attached to it. If players get the good ending, they will play The Final Countdown mission, whereas those that get the bad ending will see the Ashes to Ashes mission. So anyone that wants to beat every main mission in the campaign will have to beat a total of 15 missions.

Besides the main story missions, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has side missions as well. In total, there are two side missions for players to complete, where they take control of fan favorite Black Ops character Alex Mason. Taking these missions into account, and there’s a total of 17 missions for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War players to complete.

Those that want to fully complete the game and unlock all of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s achievements will have to spend some time hunting down secrets in the campaign, not to mention beat it on Veteran or Realism difficulty. Players will also have to spend a great deal of time playing Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s multiplayer and Zombies modes as well if they hope to fully complete the game.
