There are plenty of secrets in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War that players can use to traverse the immense map. Luckily, the official Call of Duty website released a blog post to help players starting out on their journey.

The guide gives detailed instructions starting when players first arrive in the Staging Area outside the facility to the final location outside the Observation Tower. Not only that, but the post gives Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War gamers ten tips on how to approach the mission and win.

The first tip that the site gives is to stick around the beginning area and rack up some points while the zombies are easy, then move on to the next checkpoint as soon as they become overwhelming. Next, the post advises players to make use of the Death Perception consumable since there are a lot of tight buildings where zombies can jump out and attack. Additionally, use the crafting tables to build more powerful weapons like the ARC-XD Support Weapons and the hand cannon in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

The site also informs gamers that there are some fun activities to de-stress from the zombie onslaught. For example, there is an arcade in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War that players can go to have some fun after receiving their first arcade token. There will even be surprise gifts waiting inside for gamers at the arcade to take on their adventure. Not only that, but there is a super-powerful wonder weapon players can get. It is a melee axe weapon that can be earned by gambling with the Mystery Box or completing trials.

Hopefully, the website post sheds some light for fans who might be overwhelmed. The site also stated that this DLC marks the end of the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies chapter, but the story will be continuing shortly. The following “Dark Aether” chapter will take place in Call of Duty: Vanguard on November 5th. Fans have the option to pre-order now, which will include early access to the Arthur Kingsley Operator and Night Raid Mastercraft Weapon Blueprint that can be used in both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
