Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 6 - The Final Showdown releases on October 7. It will include several changes to the multiplayer and the Call of Duty: Warzone experience. Fans of the multiplayer experience in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War can expect three new maps. “Deprogram” is a standard map that takes place in protagonist Adler’s mind, while Main Street “Amerika” is the Soviet version of an American town from the campaign.

Multiplayer fans that prefer smaller maps in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War still have a smaller Gunfight and Face-Off map to look forward to with Season 6. The new Gunfight map is known as the KGB headquarters vault called “Gluboko.” Gluboko will offer extremely fast-paced matches in the Lubyanka Building’s underbelly.

All three new multiplayer maps will release with the launch of Season 6, ensuring that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War multiplayer fans have something new to discover on October 7. Just like Call of Duty: Warzone, Deprogram includes Red Doors that allow Cold War fans to traverse the map more easily. Amerika includes multiple locations to get into shootouts in including a pizzeria, theater, and a Burger Town replica.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War multiplayer fans don’t only have new maps to explore, as Season 6 brings eight new weapons to the game. Joining the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone arsenals in October are the .410 Ironhide Shotgun, the Grav assault rifle, a teased SMG, and the melee Battle Axe. Included in the new Black Ops Cold War Battle Pass are also a lever-action shotgun, a powerful assault rifle, and another new melee weapon.

Call of Duty: Warzone players will be greeted by map updates to Downtown and Stadium, a new Gulag inspired by the original one, and updates to the clan system. A man-made earthquake has shaken the map of Verdansk ‘84, creating cracks in the Earth near Stadium and Downtown. Downtown, in particular, is torn asunder by these fissures as the marquee Hotel and several buildings in the area have been toppled. Warzone fans will also be able to explore new World War 2 bunkers in Verdansk ‘84 in preparation for Call of Duty: Vanguard.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available right now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
