Infinite Warfare, which is getting mostly positive reviews, introduces a new exchange component to the franchise that allows players to construct weapon variations after they collect a certain about of Salvage. Players earn Salvage, which is basically a new form of currency, a number of ways in the multiplayer mode. To help ease confusion and assist players in racking up a ton of Salvage in a hurry, the official Call of Duty twitter has released a list of every way that players can currently score the high value asset.

Here’s a look at the list from the official account…

As players already invested in the game since its launch know, there are a few ways to get ahead in the race for Salvage. Players are likely to accumulate a decent amount of the currency simply from playing multiplayer matches and not even thinking about it. That said, players who want to make it a point to get ahead and earn the weapon variations in a hurry can take special care to concentrate on the five areas mentioned above. Daily login bonuses are pretty much a freebie, so be sure to get at least one match in per day so you don’t miss that one. After that, soldiers will need to start doing some work alongside their teammates to earn team rewards and supply drops.

Mission Team Rewards Through Common or Rare Supply Drops Rare Supply Drops guarantee Bonus Salvage Daily Login Bonuses Duplicate Items earned in Supply Drops are automatically burned into Salvage

Salvage can be used in the Armory to craft new Prototype Weapons; which come in Common, Rare, Legendary, and Epic forms. The upgraded weapons give players an edge in multiplayer, so every player should put some time into building up a cache of Salvage. As players unlock better variations, the Salvage needed for additional upgrades increases exponentially, so although the grind may seem easy the first few times, it definitely becomes more of a long game in the grand scheme of things.

In the weeks that follow Infinite Warfare’s release we expect to see players commit a decent amount of time to the game. There area  lot of CoD players right now, mostly on consoles, but there is some serious competition out there. In a fall season that is so full of other quality FPS experiences though - like Titanfall 2 and Battlefield 1 - we’ll be interested to see how long the CoD craze lasts this time around.

How was the CoD Salvage grind been going for you? Let us know in the comments.
