The most recent addition to the massively popular first-person shooter franchise is launching later this month. Modern Warfare 2 is now in the post-beta phase as Activision is preparing for the launch. While the game is a remake of the 2009 game of the same name, the plot continues from where the 2019 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare left off. The player enters a new conflict as a part of Modern Warfare’s Task Force 141, this time in Mexico, where both new and familiar adversaries await.

Now, Modern Warfare 2 players are encouraged to order pizza from Little Caesar’s and enjoy it with Mountain Dew. The partnership doesn’t end with just ingesting calories, but it gives the Modern Warfare 2 players an in-game advantage. The promotional campaign features a $7.99 “Call of Duty Combo,” which includes a large “slices-n-stix” pizza, “crazy sauce,” and a 20oz Mountain Dew. However, that specific order is not necessary to receive the reward. For every pizza ordered in the US after October 17, Little Caesar’s gives away a double XP code for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer play.

In addition to receiving XP faster, the purchases also grant other bonus in-game rewards and entries to raffle for winning bigger prizes, like a customized PlayStation 5 console. Entering the contest happens on the newly added littlecaesarscallofduty.com website by entering codes found on online and in-store receipts. Other in-game rewards include player cards, emblems, and weapon charms. It is also worth mentioning that the “Dual 2XP” codes are valid for not only Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, but also for the franchise’s new battle royale game Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 which is launching in November.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is yet to be launched for another two weeks, while Activision is working on changes to the game after the multiplayer beta. However, people can collect codes starting next Monday. Limitations in the campaign include a maximum of 40 hours of Dual 2XP play per person, up to 80 codes per person, and only 2 claims per day.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 launches on October 28 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
