This sequel to 2019’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is actually a reboot of the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and will, as such, feature a new storyline, characters and engine, so it’ll all look more polished and exciting than ever before. If you want to get early access to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 campaign mode, you can work on doing so right now. All you need to do is preorder a digital edition of Modern Warfare 2 to get early campaign access. This means you’ll receive a code that you input on the platform of your choice (Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC) that will unlock the portion of the game you’ll be able to play early.
In addition, you’ll also get several “previously unannounced rewards,” according to a blog post on the official Call of Duty website. You’ll have an entire week to complete the campaign before the full game debuts on October 28.
