The fire began on Monday just before 7 a.m. PT east of Irvine, a city about 40 miles south of Los Angeles. Powerful Santa Ana winds and red flag conditions conducive to fanning wildfires helped the blaze quadruple in size throughout the day, according to CNN. The Operation Grand Heist update for Black Ops 4 makes changes to all three major game modes. In terms of Blackout, players can look forward to some new areas to explore on the battle royale map, including a named location called Ghost Town (based on the Standoff multiplayer map from Black Ops 2) and some underground tunnels modeled after the Black Ops 2’s Zombies map Buried. Additionally, Blackout is getting a new mode called Hot Pursuit, though it won’t be part of the initial Operation Grand Heist update....

Without the datamining being done to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, it is unlikely that any of the recent Easter eggs would have ever been found, as they are extremely complicated and can easily be failed if players do not know exactly what they are doing. The multiplayer side of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is getting another big boost in this midseason update with a couple of new maps. The first known as Sanatorium was leaked earlier this month. According to the description, ten squads of four are fighting it out over objectives and vehicles on the Ural Plains. With the main structure in the center, the map itself features some diverse sections including a small forest, lakeside structures, and a large wooden dock....

Though mastery camo changes are one of the biggest changes that fans have pushed Treyarch to make, they are far from the only one. This would hardly be the first secret update made to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, as Treyarch has made some big unannounced changes in the past. This December, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s melee system was altered heavily, and a knife animation was added despite never being brought up in the patch notes. Another major, silent change was a noticeable nerf to XP earning rates, with this update still going unaddressed by Treyarch several weeks later....

Announced earlier today on the official Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War website, the second season promises a bunch of new game modes, playable operators, and new weapons for players. And anyone who’s highly anticipating its release won’t even need to wait for too much longer, as the update is scheduled for February 23rd, which is less than a week away.
